Peuteropvang Ibn-I-Sina

Welcome to De Rotterdamse Peuterschool, Ibn-I-Sina Zegenstraat location. We are situated at Zegenstraat 120A in Rotterdam, on the grounds of the Islamic primary school Ibn-i Sina. This close partnership allows our toddlers to become familiar with the school setting from an early age, ensuring a smooth transition into primary education. Children aged 2 to 4 learn through play in a safe and familiar environment where every child is free to be themselves and where natural curiosity is encouraged. Our qualified staff follow the Rotterdam Early-Education programme: “A flying start for every Rotterdam toddler”. Themes are chosen to match the toddler’s world—seasons, emotions, exploring the surroundings—stimulating language, social-emotional and motor development. We run fixed horizontal groups so children play and interact with peers of the same age. Each morning or afternoon is filled with creative activities, outdoor play in our own garden, singing and storytelling. Parents receive photos and messages through the Konnect Parent app, keeping them involved in their child’s progress. The setting is open during school weeks and accommodates up to 16 toddlers per session. Parents provide fruit and a spare set of clothes; additional support is available for children with a target-group indication. Together with parents we ensure every child enjoys a warm and stimulating start on the path to primary school.
