Peuteropvang De Triangel

De Rotterdamse Peuterschool, location De Triangel is situated at Landmanstraat 2 in Rotterdam-Zuid and is a day-care centre exclusively for toddlers aged 2 to 4. We are part of Stichting Peuter & Co and offer a safe, familiar environment where every child is free to be themselves. Our horizontal toddler group has room for 14 children and follows the Early Childhood Education (ECE) programme, through which we stimulate development through play and prepare children for a successful school career. We believe in learning through play. Our qualified staff consciously focus on independence, creativity and social skills. We sing, do arts and crafts, read stories and regularly use our green outdoor area for discovery and movement. Each morning starts with a joint gathering, after which children work in small groups on language, numeracy and motor skills. We connect with the child’s world of experience and seize spontaneous initiatives to learn. Parents are our partners in upbringing. We organise parent meetings, share development at drop-off and pick-up times and are always open to questions. For children who need extra support we cooperate with pre-school social-work services. This way we ensure that every toddler makes a flying start with us, regardless of background or beliefs.
