Welcome to De Rotterdamse Peuterschool, location De Nieuwe Haven Noordereiland, located at Prins Hendriklaan 22 in the heart of Rotterdam. We are part of De Rotterdamse Peuterschool, an organization with over 30 years of experience in providing high-quality toddler care in Rotterdam. Our location at Nieuwe Haven Noordereiland offers a safe and stimulating environment where children aged 2 to 4 can develop optimally. Everything we do revolves around "learning through play". Our pedagogical staff create daily new activities that match your toddler's development. We stimulate the senses and encourage the development of language, motor skills and social skills. Children have the space to talk, sing, build, cycle, laugh, puzzle, run and play with peers from the neighborhood. During these activities they not only learn new words, but also practical skills like putting on a jacket. We work closely with primary school De Nieuwe Haven, making the transition to primary school literally and figuratively small. Our horizontal group structure means children play and learn in age-matched groups, which optimally supports development. We offer both morning and afternoon sessions, allowing for flexible childcare. Our 8 promises form the core of our pedagogical approach: we prepare children for school, create safety, stimulate independence, develop social skills, teach norms and values, encourage healthy nutrition and exercise, develop creativity and actively involve parents in the process.
