De Rotterdamse Peuterschool, location De Kameleon Carnissedreef, is a warm and safe preschool in the heart of Rotterdam-Charlois. We are located at Carnissedreef 2-4, right next to primary school De Kameleon, with whom we work closely. This partnership ensures that our toddlers become familiar with the school environment at an early age, making the transition to group 1 smooth and familiar. We offer children aged 2 to 4 a rich learning environment where play-based learning is central. Under the guidance of experienced pedagogical staff, children explore the world around them. We use a VVE program (Early Childhood Education) that aligns with the world of experience of toddlers. Themes such as seasons, emotions, nature and social interaction are introduced in a playful way. This not only stimulates language development, but also the social-emotional and motor skills of each child. Our toddler group is small-scale and manageable: a maximum of 15 children per session. We work with horizontal groups, where children of the same age come together. This provides peace and recognition, and allows us to respond well to the developmental stage of each child. We offer childcare five sessions per week, with parents having the flexibility to choose between morning or afternoon sessions. De Rotterdamse Peuterschool is part of Stichting Peuter & Co. We stand for an inclusive approach: every child is welcome, regardless of background or beliefs. We work closely with parents and believe it is important that they feel involved in their child's development. Together we give every toddler a flying start!
