de Reuze BSO

Welcome to de Reuze BSO, uniquely located in the Biotoop at Kerklaan 30f in Haren. As part of Stichting Kinderopvang Haren, we provide professional after-school care for children aged 7 to 12 years in an inspiring green environment. Our BSO is housed in the former biological center of the University of Groningen, giving us a special place where children can play, discover and grow. With space for 48 children, we work in a warm and safe environment where every child can be themselves. We believe that after-school care should be free time for children, while still offering various activities that match their interests and development. Children can enjoy fun games, creative crafting activities, table tennis and football, computer activities and many types of imaginative play. We regularly organize workshops and make use of the unique opportunities that the Biotoop offers us. Our pedagogical staff guide children in table groups of maximum 10 children, with each group having a fixed mentor who knows the child well. After school, children are cared for until 6:00 PM. On study days and holidays, we provide care from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We work closely with schools in the area and ensure a smooth transition from school to the BSO. We eat and drink together in the table group, with plenty of room for relaxation and fun.
