Kinderopvang Bathmen

Welcome to De Regenboog, our small-scale daycare centre located at Spoorstraat 9 in Bathmen. We provide care for children from 0 to 4 years in one vertical group, where babies and toddlers play and learn together. Our pedagogical approach centres on autonomy: children are given space to discover, try and learn by themselves, which strengthens their self-confidence. Nature is at the heart of our programme. We have a large green natural garden featuring a willow tunnel, sandpit, water and sand play areas, a forest path and a willow yurt. Every day we go outside – rain or shine – so children can run, cycle, build dens and let their imagination run free. Indoor and outdoor activities blend seamlessly; crafts, music, reading, drama and yoga often take place in the garden. Our committed team consists of qualified pedagogical staff, a dedicated cook and a location manager. We work with themes such as fantasy, movement, fairy tales and water. Artists – including musicians, dancers and visual artists – regularly guide our sessions. The child’s creative process is what matters, not the end result. Healthy nutrition is important to us. Our cook prepares a warm, varied meal daily using fresh, natural produce. Vegetarian or halal meals are available on request. Children are involved in cooking and tasting to help them learn about ingredients and flavours. We offer a safe, homely environment where every child feels seen and valued. Nappies, wipes, bottles, fruit and drinks are included. Early childhood education (VVE) programmes are woven into our daily activities, preparing children for primary school through play.
