Welcome to KDV de Rank, our daycare center located at Schiedamseweg 122 in Schiedam. We are part of childcare organization Mundo and provide care for children aged 0 to 4 years. Our location is designed according to the latest insights in childcare. Upon entering, you'll immediately experience our inviting central hall where children can start playing and discovering. This hall connects to six group rooms: one flexible group for children aged 0 to 4 years, three groups for children aged 0 to 2.5 years, and two groups for children aged 2.5 to 4 years. This setup allows us to match each child's developmental stage. Our large natural playground is the jewel of our daycare center. This garden has even been adopted as an example by other childcare organizations. Here, children can play freely, explore and learn in a natural environment. Our Activity Team from Mundo visits us regularly with specializations in sports and games, nature and creative activities. These visits are always a big celebration for the children. Our very experienced and enthusiastic pedagogical staff organize fun activities daily. All staff have completed the outdoor coach training. For the older toddlers from our vertical groups, we offer daily toddler classes. Under the guidance of a specially appointed pedagogical staff member, children experience an educational and adventurous morning or afternoon. Close to our location is Beatrix Park. Under supervision, our children are often found there, walking, playing in the playground or visiting the petting zoo. These excursions contribute to children's development and provide new experiences. KDV de Rank is easily accessible by public transport: tram 21 and 23 (Prinses Beatrixlaan stop, 2 minutes walk), bus 51 (same stop) and train (Schiedam Nieuwland station, 10 minutes walk). We have an active parent committee involved with our location.
