De Piramide

Welcome to the daycare center of IKC De Piramide in Koog aan de Zaan. We provide daycare for children aged 0 to 4 years and are open 52 weeks a year, excluding public holidays. Our daycare is part of the Integral Child Center De Piramide, where education and childcare come together under one roof. We work according to the Pyramid method, a scientifically based approach that stimulates the development of young children. This method focuses on all areas of development: personality development, social-emotional development, language development and motor development. We systematically observe and evaluate each child's development using the Cito Tracking System for young children, allowing us to make timely adjustments when needed. Our pedagogical staff are specially trained in the Pyramid approach and provide tailored care. For children who need extra support, we offer tutoring by trained tutors. For children who are ahead in their development, we provide extra challenges through our 'Smart Children' program. This way, our offering is optimally tailored to all children. We highly value the involvement of parents and caregivers. You are actively involved in your child's development and we regularly inform you about their progress. There is room for parent meetings and we organize play-along sessions where you can observe and participate. Our location is in the same building as De Piramide primary school, creating a beautiful continuous line from daycare to primary school. The children become familiar with the school environment in advance, which makes the transition to primary school easier.
