De Pioniers

Located on the first floor of the Kerk en Zanen community centre, BSO De Pioniers is directly connected to a large gym in De Oude Wereld. Children can burn off energy in the big playground, the adjacent Europapark, or the gym. Inside the BSO space we often craft, cook or play games, and there is always time to relax with a book. Outside you will always hear children playing, offering plenty of chances to make new friends. Several schools and other BSOs are nearby. From our building you can walk straight through to primary schools De Wereldwijzer and Vianova II. De Pioniers collaborates with two neighbouring Junis BSOs—Atlantis and Backpackers—sharing facilities and offering a wide range of activities together. Our enthusiastic, committed pedagogical staff provide many different activities. For schools within walking distance, staff collect children on foot. For schools further away, Junis uses its own bicycle vans or arranges transport with a taxi company.
