De Pijler

Welcome to daycare centre De Pijler, located at Fazant 1 in the heart of Maasdam. We opened our doors on 31 August 2020 as part of the Integral Child Centre (IKC) De Pijler, where childcare and education blend seamlessly. Our facility provides day care for children aged 0 to 4 years in a homely, safe environment where every child is given space to grow at his or her own pace. We use horizontal grouping: babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers are placed in age-specific groups so that activities, rest periods and care perfectly match your child’s developmental stage. For the youngest ones we provide bottle feeding, nappy changing and quiet sleeping areas. Toddlers enjoy play- and language-oriented activities linked to our Early Childhood Education programme, ensuring they start primary school confident and articulate. Outside, children explore a green, natural playground where they can run, discover and play with sand, water and plants. We emphasise outdoor air and nature experience because being outside stimulates the senses and supports healthy development. Our team of dedicated childcare professionals is ready every day to offer your child a warm home-from-home built on trust, calm and fun. Daycare De Pijler is open Monday to Friday.
