De Peuterhorn

Peuterschool De Peuterhorn is part of Kappio Childcare and is located at Horn 15 in the centre of Lutjebroek. We provide professional toddler care for up to 16 children aged 2 to 4. Our setting is GGD-approved and follows the Dutch Early Childhood Education (VE) programme, giving your child the best possible start to primary school through play-based learning. We organise children in horizontal groups, bringing together peers of the same age. This creates a calm, recognisable environment and allows our pedagogical staff to tailor activities to each child’s developmental stage. Our daily programme includes singing, crafts, story time, building, running and exploring. While playing, children practise language, numeracy, motor skills and social interaction. Parental involvement is important to us. Every week we share what your child has experienced and offer suggestions for activities at home. We also work closely with primary school De Baskuul to ensure a smooth transition from toddler care to group 1. Flexible hours are available: you can choose morning sessions, afternoon sessions or a combination, so the care fits your schedule and your child’s needs.
