De Peuterhof

Peuteropvang De Peuterhof is situated on the Mildenburg estate in Oostvoorne and is part of Humankind, a nationwide, non-profit organisation with over 40 years of experience in childcare and child development. We offer children from the age of 2 a safe, wooded environment where they can play, meet other children and take an extra step in their development. Our pedagogical approach is grounded in humanistic values: we believe in every child’s own strength and encourage self-confidence, social skills and language and motor development. We use the recognised Early Childhood Education programme Puk&Co, preparing toddlers for primary school through play. Daily activities include arts & crafts, painting, reading, outdoor play, climbing and acting out stories, both in small and larger groups. Groups are horizontally structured: children of similar ages are together, allowing us to tailor activities and guidance precisely to their developmental stage. We offer sessions from 07:30 to 18:30, with half-day and flexible care options. Parents can easily adjust sessions or request additional information via our parent portal. Our location has its own outdoor playground that blends into the natural surroundings of the estate. We provide healthy snacks, fruit and drinks and take allergies or dietary requirements into account. Quiet time and relaxation are available in our cosy corner; children who still need a nap can use a separate sleep room.
