De Petteflet

Welcome to Kindcentrum De Petteflet, located at Berndijksestraat 26 in the heart of Kaatsheuvel. We are a daycare center for children aged 0 to 4 years, part of Kinderopvang Maatschappelijk Belang. In our spacious, bright building we offer four different daycare groups, each tailored to your child's age and development. Our baby group 'de Plukkies' is unique in the region: we are the only location where we can provide a separate baby group in a quiet annex. Here, up to 10 children aged 0-2 are cared for in a serene environment. For older children we have 'de Stampertjes' (0-4 years), 'de Torteltuin' (2-4 years) and 'de Torenkamer' (2-4 years). This structure allows us to precisely tailor our offerings to your child's developmental stage. At De Petteflet we believe in the power of small-scale care within a professional organization. We work with familiar faces and short lines of communication, so your child feels safe and secure. Our pedagogical staff follow the VVE program (Preschool Education) to stimulate your child's broad development. We do this through reading and language activities, music-making, creative expression and discovery learning in our natural outdoor space. We take the children outside daily in our safe garden, where they can romp, discover and play with natural materials. For the youngest children, there is a separate section with soft flooring and shaded areas. We believe movement and fresh air are essential for healthy development. Your child receives healthy, fresh meals with us: fruit in the morning, a responsible bread meal around noon, and vegetable snacks in the afternoon. We take allergies and dietary requirements into account. All care products such as diapers and sunscreen are included, so you can drop off and pick up worry-free. Our opening hours are Monday through Friday from 07:00 to 18:30. We offer flexible childcare options, including half days.
