Welcome to De Papegaai, our daycare center located at Ankersmidplein 2 in the heart of Zaandam. As part of TintelTuin, we provide care for up to 49 children aged 0 to 4 years at this location. Our focus is on creating a warm and safe environment where children play, grow and develop. Our location is characterized by the beautiful rooftop terrace where children can play outdoors endlessly. We regularly use our pushcart to go on trips together. These outdoor activities form an important part of our daily experience-based approach. We believe that children discover and develop the world around them through play. As a daycare center, we only offer full-day care. We find it important to always have sufficient pedagogical staff per group to provide the best care. Our professional teams create a homely atmosphere in which every child gets the space to develop at their own pace. We work with horizontal groups, where babies and toddlers are cared for in age groups. This allows us to perfectly tailor care and activities to your child's developmental stage. From bottle feeding for the youngest to the first steps towards independence for toddlers and preschoolers. At De Papegaai, your child's development is central. We offer a rich learning environment where language development, motor skills and social skills are stimulated in a playful way. Our pedagogical staff are specialized in guiding young children and create new discovery opportunities daily.
