De Paedwizer

Welcome to De Paedwizer, our daycare center in the heart of Sint Nicolaasga. We are part of SKIK Childcare and provide care for up to 16 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our location is situated at Saturnusstraat 6, on the grounds of primary school De Paedwizer, ensuring a smooth and familiar transition to elementary school. At De Paedwizer, we believe that children grow best when they feel comfortable, safe, and seen. Our pedagogical staff create a warm and stimulating environment where every child can develop at their own pace. We work according to SKIK's core values: attention, growth, and joy. These values are reflected in everything we do. Our group space is equipped with various play areas that connect with young children's world of experience. There is a cozy home corner for role-play, a construction area for developing fine motor skills and creativity, a quiet reading corner where children can relax with a book, and ample space for movement and discovery. We also use the school's community room for group activities and creative projects. Outside, children can enjoy playing in our safe garden with play equipment. There is plenty of space to run, climb, bake sand pies, and discover nature. We pay great attention to outdoor play as it is important for motor development and children's general health. For the youngest ones, we have separate sleeping areas where children can sleep peacefully in a familiar environment. We follow your child's sleep rhythm and fully adapt our care accordingly. Our team consists of experienced pedagogical staff specialized in caring for babies and toddlers. We offer both full and half-day care, allowing you to be flexible according to your personal situation. Our opening hours are tailored to the needs of working parents. Through our collaboration with primary school De Paedwizer and other SKIK locations in the region, we can seamlessly connect with your child's further development.
