Welcome to de Oogappel, our small-scale daycare centre at Boomgaard 33 in Hoogezand. We are part of Kinderopvang KaKa Noord B.V. and provide care for up to 16 children aged 0 to 4. Our groups are organised horizontally, bringing children of similar ages together so we can tailor activities to their developmental stage. Safety and a nurturing climate are at the heart of de Oogappel. We are officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 192004062 and meet all legal requirements checked annually by the GGD. Children with an Early Childhood Education (VVE) indication can attend an extra Wednesday morning session, ensuring they receive at least 960 hours of preschool education within eighteen months. Our pedagogical staff follow the policy set by KaKa, emphasising learning through play, rest, regularity and rhythm. We offer both morning and afternoon sessions, giving parents the flexibility to choose what suits their family best.
