De Olifant

Daycare De Olifant challenges children to discover, explore and experiment. Our daycare is located in a charming building that was specially designed as a daycare center in 1993. This is evident in the layout of the groups; the toddler and vertical groups have children's toilets in the group, which promotes potty training. The building is very child-friendly, safe and playful in design. The spacious, enclosed garden at the back faces south and is accessible from the groups, so children can play outside a lot. The central hall is set up in such a way that children can play in the corridor. Our play materials also inspire children to give shape to their discoveries and ideas. De Olifant has two baby groups, a toddler and vertical group and an almost-to-school group. Here children are offered extra challenging activities. We work with duo groups. From a young age, children participate in the educational VVE program Peuterplein. In a playful way, all areas of development are given extra stimulation. Such as language, social-emotional, cognitive and motor development. Our pedagogical staff focus on the development of the child's own identity, independence and creative skills.
