De Oase

BSO De Oase is located inside primary school De Oase at Belcampostraat 9, Utrecht. We use nine classrooms within the school, plus the playroom, gym and a large playground. Each room has its own character with theme-based corners, giving children plenty of choice. Our pedagogical staff offer a daily menu of activities. Children can play independently at table tennis, crafts, board games or dressing up. We also guide group activities such as sports, dance, cooking and handicrafts. The children themselves help decide which activities are on the schedule. We follow the Pedagogisch Hart framework of Kind&co ludens. This rests on four pillars: every child should feel happy and have fun, they are given trust and space to explore, we provide a rich and challenging environment, and we learn to live together in a mini-society where we care for one another. During school holidays BSO De Oase is open from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm. We welcome all children aged 4 to 12, from both the lower and upper years of De Oase primary school.
