De Notendop

Welcome to De Notendop, located at Eksterhof 2 in The Hague. We are part of gro-up and provide toddler care for children aged 2.5 to 4 years. Every day we pursue one clear goal: preparing your child for primary school through play and personalised guidance. Our programme focuses on stimulating language, social skills and independence, so that your son or daughter can start the first school day with confidence. At De Notendop we work in small, horizontal groups. This means children of roughly the same age play and learn together. This setup gives our pedagogical staff the space to respond to every developmental stage and to offer activities that precisely meet your child’s needs. We follow a fixed daily routine with ample room for both structured VVE activities and free exploration time. Through play we practise language skills, numeracy, motor skills and social interaction. We read aloud, sing songs and use thematic material that connects with toddlers’ world of experience. Safety and trust are our top priorities. De Notendop has a homely interior where your child quickly feels at ease. We work closely with parents: brief handovers at drop-off and pick-up, weekly updates and two in-depth development meetings each year. We also offer the option of half-day attendance, allowing you to tailor childcare flexibly to your family situation. Together we ensure that your child walks into primary school with a broad smile.
