De Notedop - Speelnoot

We are BSO De Speelnoot, part of childcare organization De Notedop, located at Peppelkade 40 in Houten. For over 30 years, we have been providing passionate and professional care for children aged 5.5 to 9 years. Our location accommodates 90 children and has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since September 19, 2010, under number 145403166. At De Speelnoot, we believe every child is unique. We give your child love, warmth, and security. Every care moment is a moment of attention. Feelings are named and emotions are allowed to be expressed – whether your child is happy, angry, or sad. We verbalize what we're doing so your child knows what to expect. We consciously look at your child's needs and development and adapt our rhythm and play accordingly. We respect each child's individuality and take them seriously by listening carefully and verbalizing their feelings and needs. Our pedagogical staff Caroline, Ingrid, Diana, Petra, and Hanneke, together with Femke, form the professional team ready for the children daily. They not only guide on location but also think along and organize where needed, even outside childcare hours. As one parent described: "The guidance from De Notedop goes far beyond just being there for your child on location." Sports and play are central at De Speelnoot. Children can play football, cycle, run, and much more. When the weather is nice, we go outside to play football on the nearby field. Our staff often participate in activities, just like Bianca who, according to a child, "understands why I need to run so much" and is always ready with a plaster when someone falls. We work from a strong pedagogical vision that guarantees high quality. Our location is safely equipped with annually inspected play equipment. We provide a familiar environment where children can develop at their own pace and in their own way.
