De Notedop - Beukenoot

Welcome to De Notedop – Beukenoot, our daycare centre at Peppelkade 38 in Houten. For more than 30 years we have been the very first childcare organisation in Houten, offering a trusted second home to children aged 0 to 4. In our homely building we care for up to 63 children, divided into four horizontal groups: Red, Green, Yellow and Blue. Each group has its own permanent team of pedagogical staff who recognise your child, understand them and give them the space to be themselves. Our warm pedagogical approach puts your child at the centre. We name feelings, give words to emotions and consciously adapt our rhythm and play to each child’s development and needs. Whether your child is happy, angry or sad – every feeling is welcome. We take children seriously, listen carefully and verbalise what they need. We love to play outside; when the weather is nice we head to the nearby field to play football, cycle and run. Indoors there is plenty of room to explore, do crafts or quietly read a book. We are open from 7.30 am to 6.15 pm, Monday to Friday. Nappies and formula are included in the hourly rate of € 6.74, so you never have to worry about extra costs. We work with fixed staff per group and a familiar structure based on horizontal groups. This gives your child the peace and regularity needed to develop optimally.
