De Noorderborch

BSO De Noorderborch is part of Stichting Varietas and is located in the same building as primary school De Noorderborch at Havezathe 99 in Almelo. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 who attend primary school. Our childcare is situated within the school building, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care in a familiar environment. Our BSO aims to offer children a safe, challenging and homely place after school where they can relax, play and further develop. We work closely with the school and align our activities with the school calendar. During study days and school holidays, we remain open so parents can rely on our care throughout the year. We provide care before school (VSO) and after school (NSO) in collaboration with the school. Children can come to us for rest and relaxation, as well as for sports and creative activities. We regularly organize outings and excursions, making use of the Schelfhorst and Almelo area. During holidays, we offer a varied program with fun activities. Communication with parents is conducted through the Klasbord app and email. We believe it's important for parents to stay involved in their child's development and keep them informed through newsletters and the parent portal. Our pedagogical staff are ready to give children a great time after school and guide them in their free time.
