Welcome to Partou de Nieuwe Nachtegaal! Our daycare centre is located in the modern community building at Mezenhof 28 in Rotterdam's Oud-Charlois district. On the ground floor we have three cosy groups specially designed for children aged 0 to 4. Together these groups accommodate 36 children, divided into horizontal age groups so every child receives the attention they deserve. For us it's all about discovering, playing and growing. We use the VVE programme Uk & Puk, which playfully stimulates language, numeracy and social skills. Our pedagogical professionals follow Partou's six building blocks: a safe pedagogical climate, stimulating developmental environment, involved parents, professional guidance, continuous development line and sustainability. This gives every child a powerful start. We're proud of our large, green playground with vegetable garden, sandpit and bicycles. Here children can romp, garden and discover animals. We regularly visit the petting zoo to strengthen the connection with nature. Inside there's a reading corner full of books, a creative corner for crafts and building, and separate sleeping areas where the little ones can nap peacefully. Every day starts with a warm welcome and personal conversation with parents. We believe open communication is essential and keep parents informed of all milestones and happy moments through our own app. We cook fresh and healthy meals daily, taking into account any allergies or dietary requirements. For the youngest we provide bottle feeding, nappies and care products. We offer flexible childcare: full days, half days or flexible hours. Our goal is for every child to feel safe, seen and valued, so they can explore the world with confidence.
