De Mukkenweide

De Mukkenweide is our second after-school care (BSO) location in Leunen, situated at Weideweg 19A. We provide after-school care for up to 44 children aged 4 to 12 years. Since 8 December 2017 we have been officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 159406316. Our location is part of De Mukkenstal Beheer B.V., an organisation that has been giving children the space to grow up in a green environment with animals since 2013. At De Mukkenweide we also keep young cattle; around 25 calves walk around daily that the children can care for and play with. This unique combination of agricultural activities and childcare gives children the chance to discover nature in a playful way and learn to take responsibility. We work with a close-knit team of five pedagogical staff who are ready every day to offer the children a safe and challenging time after school. The space is set up for playing, crafting, relaxing and of course being outside. The Weideweg is located in a quiet, rural area, so there is plenty of room for outdoor play and discovery trips.
