De Morgenster

Welcome to De Morgenster, a small-scale daycare centre in the heart of Zutphen. We provide care based on the anthroposophical educational philosophy of Rudolf Steiner. Our location at Tengnagelshoek 6 is a warm, safe place where children aged 3 months to 4 years are free to discover, play and grow — at their own pace. Everything we do revolves around calm, rhythm and a loving environment. We use sustainable and simple play materials that stimulate the imagination and creativity of young children. All our toys, furniture and food are natural and organic. Together we create a healthy, positive and secure start for every child. Our groups are vertically structured, allowing children of different ages to play and learn together. This promotes social development and natural helping behaviour. We do not offer pre-programmed activities, but follow the child in his or her own development and interests. Outdoor play is an important part of our daily routine, giving children the space to discover nature and stimulate their senses. In short: De Morgenster is a place where your child feels safe and secure, where there is room for wonder and where the foundation is laid for lifelong learning.
