De Meent

BSO De Meent is located on the grounds of primary school De Meent at Trompplein in Maarn. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 who attend De Meent or De Ladder primary schools. Our BSO is divided into two age-based groups, each with its own classroom. Inside the school we have access to a stage and a spacious playroom, giving the children plenty of space to play, do crafts or make music. We work with themed programmes: every theme is linked to matching activities so that children discover new things while playing. There is also ample opportunity to play outside. We have a large schoolyard and even a small patch of woodland where children can run, romp and experience nature. For the youngest children we also offer before-school care (VSO). This is open on Tuesday and Thursday from 07:30 to 08:30 in the classroom of the youngest BSO group. During VSO children can gently start the day with games, Lego or a book. Afterwards our pedagogical staff member walks each child to the correct school. Our team consists of enthusiastic, qualified pedagogical professionals who every day create a safe, challenging and friendly environment. Together with the children we make it a place where everyone feels at home.
