Vlietkinderen Luchtballon

Kindcentrum De Luchtballon is located at Van Lodensteijnstraat 6 in Voorburg and is part of Stichting Vlietkinderen. We provide after-school care (BSO) for up to 44 children aged 4 to 12. Our BSO is the place where children experience a ‘second home’ after school. Here they can unwind after a busy school day and take part in fun, challenging and creative activities. Nothing is mandatory and almost everything is allowed: simply relaxing is fine too, and of course we also offer a quiet space and guidance for homework whenever needed. We work from our core values Real, Adventure and Together. This means we believe in genuine people, respect for everyone’s individuality and we keep our promises. We are always looking for new adventures and want to learn and develop together. By connecting parents, partners and colleagues we create a warm environment in which children can develop from a sense of safety. At the BSO of Kindcentrum De Luchtballon we have a Children’s Council. This council gives children a voice and lets them co-decide on activities and ideas wherever possible. During school holidays we offer an adventurous programme full of developmental activities. Think of creative craft projects, sports and games, and regular excursions to fun places in the region. Our experienced pedagogical staff guide the children in a respectful and stimulating way, making every day a new adventure.
