De Lotus

Peuteropvang De Lotus is located inside the public primary school De Koempoelan at Gangeslaan 59 in Purmerend. We offer a cosy and safe environment for children aged 2 to 4. Step by step, toddlers discover the world by playing, eating, dancing, singing and crafting together with peers. Our pedagogical staff create a warm and relaxed atmosphere in which every child is unique and has the space to be themselves. Through play, we teach children to play and share together. Every week the toddlers enjoy the gym class ‘Gast op Gympies’, which is great for their self-confidence, motor development and language development. We operate one horizontal group and are open during school weeks. There is a spacious garden where the children regularly play. We also use the Parent App to keep parents informed about their child’s daily activities and development. When a child is almost 4 years old, we prepare them for primary school. We meet the teacher and often do activities together with group 1/2. This ensures a smooth transition.
