De Loeiende Koe

Welcome to De Loeiende Koe, our small-scale daycare center on the farm at Jisperweg 134 in Westbeemster. Since 2014, we have been providing care for children from 10 weeks to 4 years in a unique, rural environment. As an agricultural childcare facility, we are part of the United Agricultural Childcare (VAK) and combine professional care with the richness of farm life. With us, children have all the space to develop at their own pace. The natural environment is our biggest playground: children can play outside, get dirty and discover where their food comes from. The dairy farm offers daily new adventures and learning moments. Our pedagogical staff guide the children with lots of personal attention in small groups. We use a vertical group structure, where children of different ages play and learn together. This stimulates social development and creates a warm, homely atmosphere. The farm garden and the animals on the premises make every day special. Children learn through play about nature, seasonal rhythms and farm life. Our location accommodates up to 30 children and is officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 480274393. Parents can use childcare allowance.
