Welcome to De Limoezine, our daycare centre located at Ravelstraat 69 in Bergen op Zoom. We provide childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years in a warm, homely environment. Our location has two horizontal groups: a baby-toddler group for children from 2.5 months to around 2 years old and a toddler-preschooler group for children from 2 to 4 years old. Each group is designed as a cosy living room where children of similar ages can play and discover together throughout the day. At De Limoezine, we work with specially trained baby specialists who have completed additional training alongside their regular education. They have in-depth knowledge about the development and needs of babies and can properly recognise and respond to the signals of the youngest children. We believe it's important that every child feels seen, heard and valued. Therefore, we pay great attention to creating a positive and stable attachment relationship between child and pedagogical staff member. Our pedagogical staff carefully observe each child's development. We use the Kijk! method to monitor your child's well-being and development. Around your child's first birthday, we invite you for a Kijk! conversation where we discuss your child's well-being together and the alignment between home and childcare. We value good cooperation with parents. Your child will be assigned a fixed mentor who will be your point of contact and the familiar face for your child. Children have the space to develop at their own pace with us. We provide a safe environment with challenging materials that match your child's age and development. We work with fixed daily routines and rituals around eating and sleeping. For the youngest children, we have outdoor cribs available so that your child, if you give permission for this, can sleep wonderfully outside. We believe it's important that children can play and discover both indoors and outdoors.
