BSO De Leeuwen

BSO De Leeuwen is part of Kinderopvang Kiwi and located within the Feiko Clock primary school at Sportlaan 10 in Oude Pekela. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. Our team welcomes children into a familiar, homely environment where they can unwind after a busy school day. Our space includes a large playroom with different play corners, a separate play hall and a crafts and computer room. This layout allows children to choose their own activity: quietly reading in the reading corner, working on a creative project or being active in the movement area. Around the school there is a large playground with a sandbox and climbing equipment, and a grass field next to the building where we play and do sports when the weather is nice. We work closely with OBS Feiko Clock. After school, children can walk straight to the BSO area, giving parents one central location for both school and childcare. The public library in the same building is regularly involved in reading activities. Our pedagogical staff offer a varied programme every day that matches the world of school-aged children. Think of crafts, sports and games, but also quiet moments for children who need them. We believe it is important that children feel safe and secure and have the space to be themselves.
