De Lapjeskat

Welcome to BSO De Lapjeskat, located at Mandenvlechter 14-16 in Alphen aan den Rijn. We are part of Junis Kinderopvang and provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13. Our child centre is a warm, homely place where children feel at ease and have room to relax, play and grow. After school, children decide for themselves how they want to spend their time. We start with a short gathering to go over the day’s activity programme. Children may choose free play, get creative in our art studio, perform with a microphone, build in the construction corner, dress up in the costume corner or enjoy cooking in the kitchen. A quiet corner is also available for children who simply want to unwind with a book or game. The site features a gym, an art studio and an experience garden with a sandpit, lawn and plenty of greenery. We regularly visit the petting farm and explore the neighbourhood. During school holidays we run a holiday-care programme packed with sports, games and creative workshops. We collect children on foot or with our (bike) buses from several nearby primary schools, including Het Spinnewiel and Het Baken. Our qualified pedagogical staff are ready every afternoon to give children a safe and enjoyable time. At BSO De Lapjeskat we believe after-school care should be free time that suits every child. We provide structure and freedom of choice so that children can develop in their own way.
