De Lanteerne

Welcome to KION daycare De Lanteerne, located at Florence Nightingalestraat 1 in the Hees district of Nijmegen. We provide professional childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years in a safe, development-oriented environment. Our certified pedagogical staff work with horizontal groups, where children are grouped by age. We offer both full and half-day care options with flexible arrangements to meet parents' needs. At De Lanteerne, we believe it's important for children to feel comfortable and develop optimally. We provide diapers and wipes, and offer bottle feeding for the youngest children. For older children, we serve bread meals and healthy snacks. We accommodate allergies and special dietary requirements. Our spacious sleeping rooms provide quiet spaces for necessary naps, while our secure playground offers plenty of space for outdoor play and discovery. Our activities are tailored to the age and development of the children. We offer music and singing sessions, arts and crafts, language development through reading and singing, and sports activities in our garden. We regularly make trips to the nearby playground or park. Reading in our cozy book corner stimulates language development, while outdoor play supports motor development. We follow the VVE program (Early Childhood Education) to optimally support the development of young children. Our pedagogical staff are professionally trained and carefully monitor each child's development. We welcome questions from parents and are happy to discuss your child's progress.
