De Kweekvijver

Welcome to BSO De Kweekvijver, located in the same building as primary school De Kweekvijver at Paling 2 in the heart of Oostzaan. We are a small-scale and challenging after-school care facility where children aged 4 to 12 can play, discover and relax in safety and familiarity after school. Our team of dedicated pedagogical staff collects the children directly from their classrooms after school; the youngest are picked up, while older children come on their own. We believe it is important that children decide for themselves what they want to do. Therefore, every day we offer a wide choice of activities: crafting, woodworking, theatre, sports and dancing are all on the programme. Music and movement receive extra attention thanks to our collaboration with specialist teachers. BSO De Kweekvijver is part of TintelTuin. We work closely with the school on one site, ensuring a smooth transition from the school day to after-school care. Parents find this pleasant and reassuring, and children quickly feel at home. Our spaces are bright, modern and inviting. We have plenty of materials for creative and sporting challenges, allowing every child to discover and develop their talents. Outdoor play is of course also part of the programme: we use the school playground and the immediate surroundings of the church district. In short, at BSO De Kweekvijver children are given the space to be themselves, play together and learn new things in a safe, homely atmosphere.
