De Kroon

Welcome to daycare De Kroon, located in the heart of Nijmegen right next to the beautiful Kronenburgerpark. In our charming building from 1956 with authentic character, we provide children aged 0 to 4 with a warm second home. Our dedicated pedagogical staff work according to the principle 'understanding with your hands' and draw inspiration from the Reggio Emilia approach. Everything revolves around discovery and experience. Babies roll around on the mat and babble to their friends, brave toddlers take their first steps, and energetic preschoolers go on hopping adventures. We have three vertical groups and one preschool group where children of different ages play together and learn from each other. Our large, natural garden invites play: messing around with sand and water, swinging to the clouds, or simply relaxing in the grass. We also regularly use the adjacent Kronenburgerpark; taking the cart to see the ducks, have a picnic, or play games together. We believe it's important that parents are involved in their child's development. That's why we regularly organize parent evenings and celebrations where parents are warmly welcome. After a busy day, we offer extra convenience with healthy meals from BliXem Kookt that you can take home when picking up your child. Daycare De Kroon is part of KION, the largest childcare organization in Nijmegen and surrounding areas. We're proud to have provided reliable and loving care to families in central Nijmegen for over 25 years.
