De Koters

BSO De Koters is located inside Kindcentrum De Regenboog at Kallameer 2 in Woerden. We provide after-school care for 98 children aged 4 to 12. The younger group (4-8 years) attends BSO Koters, while older children (9-12 years) join BSO Stein in the same building. Our programme is rich and varied: dance and music, drama, sports and games, construction and technology, creative crafts and challenging free play. We spend a lot of time outdoors on our large green playground. Older children can do their homework under the guidance of our certified pedagogical staff. Children are encouraged to help choose the activities and are given room to make their own decisions. We follow one pedagogical line with De Regenboog primary school, allowing children to stay in their familiar surroundings after school. Staff collect the children directly from their classrooms. We also offer before-school care on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m.; staff then walk the children to their classes. Our premises feature spacious, bright rooms and a secure entrance. We serve organic meals and create a homely atmosphere where every child feels welcome. Together with parents, we aim to provide a warm and safe place where children can relax, play and develop.
