De Kolderzolder

De Kolderzolder is a welcoming out-of-school care location run by Stichting Kinderopvangvoorzieningen Beverwijk (SKOV), housed in a beautiful, spacious townhouse at Moensplein 10 in the centre of Beverwijk. We provide care for up to 40 children aged 4 to 13, divided into two vertical groups of 20 children each. The location has been registered in the National Childcare Register since 1 January 2010 under number 225669717. Our characteristic building radiates warmth and a homely atmosphere. Children enter through a large hallway and can then choose from several inviting rooms: a big communal hall for games and relaxation, a quiet reading corner with books and soft cushions, a computer corner for homework or educational games, an inspiring art studio for crafts and creative projects, and of course our famous attic, which gave the location its name. The attic offers extra excitement and adventure and is loved by children who enjoy hide-and-seek, building dens or simply withdrawing for a while. Outside we have our own green outdoor area. Here children can romp in the fresh air, build dens, play sports or work together in the vegetable garden. We actively cooperate with various primary schools in Beverwijk: Anjelier, Bethelschool, Sparkel, Montessorischool, Sleutelbloem and Wilgeroos. Every school day we pick up the children and bring them safely to De Kolderzolder, where they first have a drink together and can then freely choose from a wide range of activities. Our pedagogical policy is aimed at offering children a safe, challenging and homely environment in which they can develop. We work with fixed base groups and dedicated pedagogical staff, so that every child has a familiar face. In addition, children can play together with peers from other groups during activities. During holidays and study days we organise a varied programme with excursions, workshops and sports outings. Parents are kept informed via our Parent App and can always request a personal conversation about their child's well-being.
