De Koebel

Welcome to De Koebel, our farm-based childcare located at Zuiderweg 2 in Assendelft. As part of the United Agricultural Childcare (VAK), we provide small-scale, professional childcare in a unique rural setting. Our daycare is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. At De Koebel, we believe in the power of outdoor experiences. Our pedagogical staff approach children in a positive, individual and respectful manner. We give children literally and figuratively the space to be themselves and gain experiences at their own pace. Playing and learning in the fresh outdoor air, experiencing nature and animals - that's what we stand for. Our location accommodates 32 children across 2 horizontal daycare groups. We create a safe and familiar environment where children can develop optimally. The farm environment offers endless opportunities for discovery and adventure, where children learn about nature, animals and farm life through play.
