De Kleine Wereld Van Hilligaertstraat

De Kleine Wereld Van Hilligaertstraat is our daycare centre located in the heart of Amsterdam's vibrant De Pijp neighbourhood, tucked away in a green courtyard where an old school building has been transformed into a beautiful, modern and sustainable facility. We provide care for 48 children aged 0 to 4 years in vertical groups, where younger and older children play together and learn from each other. Inside, we have well-designed group spaces with large authentic windows that provide beautiful natural light. The groups are arranged with different play corners and calming colours that create a homely and cosy atmosphere. Each group has its own separate sleeping room, and every child has their own bed available for peaceful naps when needed. Our large natural garden at the back is a true paradise for children. Here they can endlessly play and discover in the fresh air. We have various natural play elements, including a tree house, a sand area with a ruin wall, and water features. For older children, there's an outdoor workshop with leftover materials like wood, fabrics and tools. Even babies have their own special area where they can safely play outdoors. In our vegetable garden, we grow flowers, vegetables and herbs that we use in our 'Roostaurant', where every afternoon we cook and serve a warm meal. Parents can sign up for these delicious, freshly prepared dishes to take home in the evening. Our creative and dedicated team is ready every day to provide personal attention to each child and their parents. We believe that children are unique individuals with a natural drive for self-development. In our safe and stimulating environment, children can be who they are and discover who they want to become.
