De Kleine Wereld Steigereiland

Welcome to De Kleine Wereld Steigereiland, a warm and homely daycare center located at Pieter Holmplein 2 in the heart of Amsterdam. As part of De Kleine Wereld, we provide care for children aged 0 to 4 years in a safe and stimulating environment. Our daycare is open daily from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM, offering flexibility for working parents. At De Kleine Wereld, we believe that childcare is much more than just care. We work with vertical groups, where children of different ages play and learn together. This approach fosters social development and creates a homely atmosphere where every child has the space to grow at their own pace. Our natural outdoor playground offers plenty of opportunities for discovery and adventure, with the outdoor world actively integrated into the daily program. Our team of experienced pedagogical staff is led by manager Tywen Werkzam. We stand for personal attention and a warm approach, with the development of each child at the center.
