De Kleine Wereld De Wittenstraat

Welcome to KDV De Wittenstraat, a homely branch of De Kleine Wereld in the heart of Amsterdam-West. We are located on the ground floor of a former school building at De Wittenstraat 25, on the edge of Westerpark and the Jordaan district. Every day we provide daycare for up to 64 children aged 0 to 4, divided into three vertical groups. Everything we do revolves around a warm, familiar environment where children can simply be themselves. Our pedagogical staff offer personal attention every day and work closely with parents to support each child’s development. We believe that childcare is much more than just care: it complements home life, a place where play and development go hand in hand. Each afternoon our own kitchen serves a freshly cooked, healthy warm meal. Diapers and all educational and play materials are included, so parents do not need to bring anything extra. Our vertical groups allow children of different ages to learn from one another and grow up together in one close-knit community. We are open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Under the leadership of location manager Laura Mooij we make sure every day can become a little celebration, full of discovery, play and, above all, joy.
