Welcome to the toddler care of De Kleine Planeet, location Voorstad. We provide professional childcare for children aged 2 to 4 years in the heart of Deventer. Our location at Smyrnastraat 1B is a warm and safe place where your child feels at home. With us, the child is central. We work according to modern Jenaplan education, where we stimulate your child's development through play. Our pedagogical staff create a challenging environment in which toddlers can discover, play and learn. We maintain a fixed daily structure that provides peace and regularity, essential for young children. Our toddler care is specially designed for the youngest children. We work with horizontal groups, where children of similar age play and learn together. This allows us to specifically connect with each child's developmental stage. Independence is stimulated by letting children choose, pick up and clean up themselves within safe boundaries appropriate to their age and development. We provide preschool education (VVE) to optimally prepare children for primary school. Our activities focus on language development, social skills and creative expression. We work closely with De Kleine Planeet primary school, ensuring a seamless transition to school. The location has its own outdoor playground where children can get fresh air daily and play with natural materials. We pay a lot of attention to outdoor activities and discovering the environment. For the very youngest, we have separate sleeping areas where children can sleep peacefully when they need to. We collaborate with DOK13 for care around school hours, so parents can take flexible childcare. Our opening hours are generous and tailored to the needs of working parents.
