Welcome to De Kleine Maatjes in Wierden! We are located in a beautiful, sustainably built facility on the edge of Wierden, adjacent to the new Zuidbroek district. Our daycare center provides a warm and safe environment where children aged 0 to 4 years can develop optimally. Our location features five daycare groups that are thematically designed according to the Uk & Puk methodology. Each group has its own character and is equipped with various development-oriented corners such as a reading corner, building corner, and home corner. The materials and decoration perfectly align with your child's development. We work with horizontal group structure where children are grouped by age. Our daycare groups are: Stampertje (0-4 years), Simba (0-2 years), Pumba (0-2 years), Zazoe (0-3 years), Babbel (2-4 years), and Knabbel (2-6 years). This creates a safe and familiar environment where your child feels at home. Our spacious outdoor area offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor play and development. With age-appropriate play equipment, challenging playground structures, sandboxes, and football goals, children can develop through play. The front of the area is designed for our after-school care, while the side and back are specifically designed for our daycare center. Developmental areas such as art and culture, music and theater, nature and technology, and sports and movement are regularly featured in our activity program. We believe in the power of learning through play and offer daily diverse activities that connect with the world of young children.
