Kindcentrum De Kleine Doekes

Peuterspeelzaal De Kleine Doekes is located on the ground floor of primary school GBS G. Doekes at Frits de Zwerverlaan 7 in Hardenberg. We provide care for up to 16 children aged 2 to 4 years. Our play mornings run from Tuesday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. We use the Onderbouwd method, which aligns seamlessly with the approach used in the kindergarten classes at Doekesschool. The Doekes hand puppets—Sjoerd the counting duck, Mien the measuring mouse, Bert the building beaver, and Wim the word spider—are part of our daily activities. Together with the children, we count, measure, build, and expand vocabulary. Learning through play and preparing for primary education go hand in hand. Our pedagogical staff provide a safe, familiar environment where every child is given the space to develop at their own pace. We work in small, horizontal groups, ensuring plenty of personal attention. Parents are actively involved; we believe good coordination between home and preschool is essential for the child’s well-being.
