Welcome to BSO de Kindervloot at Admiraliteitsweg 2B in Medemblik! We are proud to be part of Partou and provide a welcoming place for children aged 4 to 12. Led by location manager Ellen Bankras, our team creates an adventurous and safe environment every single day. No two days are the same here. Children have plenty of space to grow through play and discovery. In our spacious after-school care they can build a cool tower in the construction corner, play house in the home corner, or get creative in the arts & crafts area. Rain or shine: we love going outside! Our large outdoor area offers lots of freedom to play, and we often organise exciting scavenger hunts around the neighbourhood. Sports and exercise are central to our programme. Every day we offer sports in the adjacent sports hall, where children can run, climb and play. During school holidays there is even more variety: we visit museums, the Neshof, go bowling or enjoy sports at sporthal de Muiter. We believe in healthy, tasty food, so we serve fresh, nutritious meals and snacks every day. We work closely with several primary schools in Medemblik. As soon as the school bell rings, our pedagogical staff are ready to pick the children up. We collect children from Jozefschool, Basisschool Maria Bernadette, Openbare Basisschool De Meridiaan, Basisschool Het Koggeschip and De Wegwijzer. For safety and visibility, children wear reflective vests during the walk or ride to the BSO. Parents stay involved through our own app. We share photos and messages so you can see how your child spends the day. The BSO opens as early as 6:30 a.m., perfect for parents who need an early start. At Partou de Kindervloot every child feels welcome and free to be themselves. We offer a warm environment where fun, discovery and development are key. Curious?
