De Kinderster peutergroep is located at Sumatrakade 1483A in vibrant Amsterdam-Oost, just steps from Javaplein. We provide small-scale, professional childcare for up to 16 toddlers aged 2 to 4. Our experienced pedagogical staff work within a clear horizontal group model, ensuring all children share a similar developmental stage so we can tailor activities precisely to their world of experience. Each day begins with a structured early-years educational programme (VVE) that prepares children for primary school through play. We work thematically, focusing on language, numeracy, social skills and independence. Music, dance and outdoor play are fixed parts of our daily rhythm. Our spacious, green outdoor area invites running, climbing and discovery, promoting gross motor skills and playful interaction with natural elements. Healthy nutrition matters to us. Children receive an organic, hot and freshly prepared meal, complemented by fruit and healthy snacks. We accommodate food allergies wherever possible and adapt the menu to individual needs. Parent communication is central. Every toddler has a dedicated mentor who knows the child well and is available for daily brief exchanges with parents.
