Welcome to De Kinderster IJburglaan, our daycare center located at IJburglaan 1475 in Amsterdam. We provide professional childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years in a homely and safe environment. Our facility features six clear groups, each with its own bedroom and direct access to our spacious garden where children can play and explore outdoors. At De Kinderster, we believe in a personal approach to childcare. Our GGD-certified pedagogical staff are ready to give your child the care and attention they deserve. We work with horizontal groups, where children come together in age groups. This creates a safe and familiar environment in which your child can develop optimally. We offer organic meals and take into account any allergies or dietary requirements your child may have. Our early childhood education (VVE) programs are designed to prepare your child for primary school through play. We focus on language development, social skills and the first basics of math and language. You can come to us for full-day care, but also for half-days. We understand that every parent has unique needs and are happy to think along with you about a care schedule that suits your situation.
