Welcome to De Kinderkorf Amstelveen, a trusted second home for children aged 0-4 for over 35 years. Our day-care centre is tucked away in the green Jac. P. Thijssepark, only 100 metres from busy Amsterdamseweg. Up to 24 children play and grow here each day, divided into two vertical groups of 12 children each, guided by three permanent, experienced pedagogical staff members. We believe in small-scale care and personal attention. Every group forms a close-knit family in which babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers learn and play together. The different nap and meal times give our staff the space to follow each child’s individual rhythm. Our spacious, custom-designed 1,300 m² garden offers endless play and nature experiences; here children can climb, run, explore and hide in complete safety. Our approach is simple: love, attention, safety and fun are central. We mirror the home situation as much as possible and serve only warm, organic and vegetarian meals. For children from 2.5 years we offer the Uk & Puk pre-school education programme, preparing them playfully for primary school. Because we are open 52 weeks a year and offer care from just one half-day per week, we fit seamlessly into your family’s rhythm.
