De Kinderkei Steggerda

Welcome to De Kinderkei Steggerda, a warm and versatile childcare centre located at Hendrik Deddenstraat 6 in the heart of Steggerda. We provide care from the very first steps right up to the start of primary school. Our centre has four vertical groups in which children of different ages play, learn and grow together. For the youngest children we have the Dolphins group, designed for babies and toddlers aged 0 to 2. Here, safety and stimulation are key: your baby explores the world through play and interaction with our qualified staff and other children. When your child turns 2, they move on to the Seahorses group. This group is specially equipped for children aged 2 to 4 and combines regular daycare with toddler activities. We run toddler mornings that offer valuable preparation for primary school, and children who attend our regular daycare also take part. Outdoor play is an important part of every day. Our own, fully enclosed outdoor area offers plenty of space to run, climb, build sandcastles and play together. The green surroundings around Steggerda also invite nature walks and forest adventures. We regularly head out to discover nature, spot animals and experience the seasons. Whenever the weather allows, you will find us outside. For school-age children we provide before- and after-school care, so children can keep seeing their De Kinderkei friends after they start primary school. The school is within walking distance, making the transition familiar and comfortable for the children. We are open from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. For parents who start earlier or finish later, we offer early care from 7:00 a.m. or extended care until 6:30 p.m. We are happy to discuss tailor-made solutions so that our care fits your situation perfectly.
