Welcome to BSO Old Skool by De Kinderkei, located at Willem Lodewijkstraat 68 in the centre of Wolvega. Together with our sister locations in the same building, we offer a wide range of childcare options. Old Skool is the out-of-school care facility for children from about 9½ years old up to the end of primary school. We provide a safe, homely environment where every child feels at home and can flourish. Our pedagogical vision is clear: every child is unique and deserves tailor-made care. Together with parents and the child we draw up a personal guidance plan with concrete goals, always putting fun first. Children are assigned fixed supervisors, so there are no unnecessary changes and trust remains central. We value rhythm and routine; therefore we align with the habits from home and keep the weekly schedule predictable. This creates calm, both at the group and at home. The Old Skool spaces are cosy and inviting. Outside, children can play safely on our own playground. For the ultimate moment of relaxation we also have a sensory room where children can completely unwind. We are open Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 18:00 and during all school holidays. Flexibility is our trademark: parents can opt for one or more days or sessions, and we are happy to think along about customised solutions that suit your family situation. BSO Old Skool is part of De Kinderkei, a certified childcare organisation that has been providing reliable care in Weststellingwerf and the surrounding area for years. Our location has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since 11 July 2016 under number 136602745 and has room for up to 60 children.
